Prices

All prices at Vitaru are in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT and duties. We reserve the right to change prices from day to day without prior consent. We also reserve the right to cancel orders for out-of-stock items.

Payment

Vitaru accepts payment with VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, PayPal, Google Pay, and bank transfers. Payment will only be charged to your account when the goods are dispatched. All amounts are in DKK and include VAT. We reserve the right for pricing errors and for out-of-stock or discontinued items.

Delivery

Vitaru strives to dispatch orders placed before 5:00 PM on the same day; orders placed after that will be sent the following business day.
We deliver throughout Denmark.
We do not deliver internationally or to the Faroe Islands and Greenland.
Your items will be sent with Dao.
Note: If there is no space at the pickup location, your package will be moved to the nearest available pickup point, and you will be notified. If there are any issues, please contact us by email.
Deliveries are made on all weekdays.

Warranty and Complaints

You have a 2-year warranty in accordance with Danish consumer law. The warranty covers defects in materials and/or manufacturing. You can have the item repaired, replaced, refunded, or receive a price reduction, depending on the specific situation. The warranty does not cover defects or damages caused by improper handling of the product/service. Complaints must be made within a "reasonable time" after discovering the defect. Vitaru will cover return shipping costs to a reasonable extent.

We do not accept shipments sent by cash on delivery.

Refunds

If a refund is necessary, please provide your bank details, including your account number and sort code, so the agreed amount can be transferred. These details can be safely provided via email or other electronic forms as they are not sensitive information and will only be used to process the refund.

Right of Withdrawal

You have a 14-day full return policy for items purchased from our webshop.

The period is calculated from the day:

  • You receive the order.
  • You take physical possession of the last item when it comes to an order of multiple goods that are delivered separately or in multiple installments.
  • You take physical possession of the last batch or part when the order consists of several parts.
  • You take physical possession of the first item when it comes to a regular supply of goods over a specified period.

You must pay the return shipping costs.
You must notify us of your decision to cancel within 14 days after purchase, and return the items within 14 days after notifying us. The notice must be sent by email to info@vitaru.dk, clearly indicating that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. If you wish to return the item, please complete the attached Return Form and send the item to:

You cannot cancel simply by refusing to accept delivery without also clearly notifying us.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The following items are not covered by the right of withdrawal:

  • Goods made according to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.
  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons and where the seal has been broken after delivery.
  • Goods that, by their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.
  • Goods where the seal has been broken.
  • Non-financial services performed after the consumer's prior explicit consent and acknowledgment that the right of withdrawal ceases when the service is fully performed.
  • Delivery of digital content not supplied on a physical medium, where the performance has started with the consumer's prior explicit consent and acknowledgment that the right of withdrawal is lost.
  • Newspapers, magazines, or periodicals (except subscriptions to such publications).
  • Contracts concluded at public auctions.
  • Goods that deteriorate or expire quickly.

Return

You must return your order without unnecessary delay and no later than 14 days after you have exercised your right of withdrawal. You must cover the direct costs of the return. When returning an item, you are responsible for packaging the item properly. Please include a copy of the order confirmation. Processing will be faster if you also complete and attach our Withdrawal Form.
You bear the risk for the item from the time of delivery until we receive it back.
We do not accept packages sent by cash on delivery.

Condition of the Item upon Return

You are only liable for any decrease in the item's value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to determine the item's nature, characteristics, and functioning. In other words, you may try the item as you would in a physical store.

If the item has been used beyond what is described above, it will be considered used. This means that, if you cancel the purchase, you may only receive part of, or no, refund depending on the item’s market value at the time of return. To receive a full refund, you must try the item without actually putting it into use.

Refund

If you cancel your purchase, you will, of course, receive the amount you paid back.
In case of a depreciation in value, for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount.
When exercising the right of withdrawal, all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for extra costs due to your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery), will be refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date we have received notification of your decision to exercise the right of withdrawal. The refund will be processed using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you have explicitly agreed to another method.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the item back unless you have provided evidence of returning it.

To enter into an agreement with us and shop on our website, we need the following information from you:

  • Information about what you have purchased

We process your personal data to deliver the goods to you and to handle inquiries related to your purchase. The processing is done in accordance with our privacy policy for Vitaru.
